Raging Fits of Happiness

The things that light my soul on fire.

Lightyears Away

on January 15, 2015

One moment you’re immersed in the photography of a Paris sunset, the next you’re staring into your lover’s eyes in Florida, thinking about getting a passport.

It’s always been difficult for me to come back to earth after a night of heavy dreaming. The first hour of my day is usually spent in a haze of the night’s adventures. Sometimes it’s the complete lack of adventure that leaves me dazed and confused. Since dreams are stored in the memory section of our brain, it can get kind of hard to decipher what are real memories or dream memories. I guess they’re all real memories, and for someone that dreams in HD- sights, colors, sounds, touch- it can be pretty confusing. Everything I experience here, I experience there. The pinch-me-I’m-dreaming thing doesn’t work for me, because if I pinch myself in a dream, I feel it.

–Might edit and add more later. I have to go to work until midnight-thirty.–
